original?tenant=vbu-digital

I have worked in the NHS for over fourteen years and have gained experience of working in a variety of services with people from a range of backgrounds. I have worked in Primary Care Adult Mental Health Services, Community Mental Health Teams, Older People’s Services, Adult Learning Disability Services, Child and Adolescent Services, Paediatrics and Adult Bariatric Surgery.

I have trained in a number of therapeutic approaches (cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, systemic approaches, solution focused therapy, narrative therapy). Further, I have obtained specialist post qualification training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Couples. I have specialist experience and knowledge of adapting therapeutic approaches to make them accessible to everyone I work with, including those with autism.

In addition to my clinical work I have experience of managing services and providing specialist consultation to clients, families, organisations and other professionals. I have lectured at University College London (UCL) and Royal Holloway University, and provided specialist training to a number of services and organisations.

My training, skills and experience enable me to offer a dynamic, flexible, collaborative and tailored approach to suit your individual needs and help you work towards making positive changes in your life.
